Rebounds are one of those stats that are far less impressive with the wide open game of the past decade. A big dude hanging around the basket against a small ball center while everyone else is scattered around the 3 point line…

When Chief and Shaq played there were not only two 7 ft centers in the paint but also two 6’10-ish PF’s. Those were rebounds. The fact that Charles Barkley at 6’4” could dominate on the boards during that era is insane.
