It’s easy to find the people in this thread who haven’t watched either of them.

They aren’t seen as superstars obviously. Those are two guys you can start in any lineup for a long time. That’s the vision. You have to get the star(s) in the draft. We have a lot of swings at it now with all these picks from Bane/JJJ. Ced and Edey are high character, high IQ, freaky measurable players that show a ton of promise.

Edey is a good player. He’s not a #1 obviously, but I can see him becoming a good #2. Neither Ja and JJJ are good #1s and they stop the team from being in the top-5 lottery odds where you need to be to find that #1

coward has been really nice but a decent amount of that narrative is because he exceeded expectations very early. It’s not like he’s VJ where you can rationally say “yes this is the future of our franchise”
