Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković has been named by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver as head coach of Team World for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game.
Know we’re all locked in on the Harden/Garland or Sabonis-Raptors noise but this was announced a bit earlier today and didn’t see a post on it.
Per the NBA’s Official PR:
Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković has been named by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver as head coach of Team World for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game.
A native of Serbia, Rajaković has guided the Raptors to a 30-21 record in his third season as their head coach.
Rajaković previously served as a head coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder’s NBA G League affiliate (then the Tulsa 66ers) and teams in Spain and Serbia.
Congrats to Toronto’s favorite caffeine enthusiast and part-time Ted Lasso impersonator. Also the head coach responsible for a major turnaround for the Raptors this year via a Top 10 defense.
