Apparently Jaylen originally wanted them to project Kai Cenat’s stream on the court so you could see the chat freaking out and Kai’s perspective from Jaylen dunking on him. He said the NBA vetoed it at the last second and it ruined the dunk.
The funny thing to me is that the dunk still would’ve sucked if they did that.

Yeah, any good player willing to do it deserves props. That being said, the dunk contest is now the worst part of all star Saturday night. I would seriously rather watch the skills challenge at this point. Just scrap all start weekend altogether and do something else. I’ve been saying forever that an NBA track and field day would be fucking sick. Let’s see whose fastest, who can jump the highest, etc. shit throw in some weightlifting to see whose strongest and finish it off with a flag football game. I would watch every second of that shit. He had cute gimmicky dunks. He literally won for doing the free throw jump dunk but with a cape on, the most overused dunk in the history of the contest. None of his dunks are memorable or anything. And that’s the best of all the big men to do it.

The best oop I can remember seeing him finish was in a game against the Spurs last year. Cade threw a bad lob so Duren had to do the biggest extension to grab it, then just thundered it home.
