He’s had a couple of 10 assists games recently and they haven’t really looked different from any of his other games. He’s creating open looks constantly. Maybe that’s more navigating double teams than it is pure playmkaing but it’s still a testament to how much offense he can create.

This is the kind of superstar duel where one guy just completely controls the game. 34 on 16 shots with 13 dimes is absurd, but the eye test was even crazier – Shai dictated the pace all night, picking his spots in the midrange, getting downhill, then spraying to shooters whenever Denver collapsed. Jokic was still Jokic, but the game was being played on SGA’s terms. And then Cason Wallace casually drops 7 threes and 27 like it’s nothing. That combo of “your best player is unguardable + your role guy randomly turns into Ray Allen” is exactly the kind of stuff that makes this Thunder team terrifying if they stay healthy in the playoffs.
