It certainly feels that way although it also feels like he rarely forces a shot up. As opposed to Clarkson who will take any and every shot.

Brunson was 12/13/7. Hart scored 20 on insane efficiency and had some big defensive plays. OG scored 25. The bench played great but “really outplayed the starters” is straight up false.
Numbers are deceiving my man. Brunson played meh tonight. Are you trying to tell me they win this game without Shamet, Kolek, Robinson, and Diawara?(not sure how to spell) playing the way they did?
Brunson was still the engine of the offense. If you get hard doubled on nearly every play, you’re often going to have “meh” stats while still having a fabulous offensive impact.
Diawara played 5 minutes, made a 3 and played some defense and ended up being a -4. But sure, numbers are deceiving.
Everything is stats with you. I said he played meh lol. Your rebuttal was bringing up Diawara’s plus/minus another number that is usually deceiving in terms of impact on the court.
Brunson had 13 assists and ran the offense that led to a lot of the shots that Shamet and OG made. Sorry for using a number again but it is the only way to quantify the impact of Brunson’s “meh” performance.
And Diawara’s plus/minus tonight is a pretty good representation of how he played. He really didn’t do much besides making a 3 and playing some defense. I don’t know what else you saw that made you think he did more than that.
Shamet played great and Kolek had high impact minutes with Brunson on the bench but Brunson still managed to play a great game even though he wasn’t shooting well. KAT too on the boards and surprisingly on defense. The only starter who underperformed was Mikal.

clarkson initially played well in the season but does not help when his shot isnt falling. he’s prob the worst defender on the team and isnt a pass first pg off the bench like kolek that we badly need.
