[Highlights] 5’7” Yuki Kawamura wins a jumpball against 6’5” Kasparas Jakučionis, and then strips Jaime Jaquez Jr. and draws the foul (with replays)
lil honey badger nyaam nyaaam
Yuki Mathieu
I love Stacey King lol
That guy saying Yuki should be the face of the league was right after all… go figure
love guys like him that come on the court and bring total chaos
That’s my dawg shiba inu
After hearing it, I prefer honey badger
This one brings joy
I like wolverine
It’s awful that teams would rather play guys who are bigger, jump higher, and suck at basketball than Yuki Kawamura.
The guy can clearly ball.
Could’ve just said Patrick Williams /s
(/s only because he didn’t completely suck ass this game)
This tiny mfer was blowing past Bam too, dude is like Judomaster from the Peacemaker show
He’s so stupidly fast with the ball. You almost don’t realize it until he gets by someone like Bam and you brain almost doesn’t compute it. People act like Yuki is some make-a-wish kid, but he has NBA-level speed and court vision at minimum. I think he got 6/3/2 and 2 stls in just 10 minutes. That’s damn good production for such a small player in so little time.
Not forgetting he almost eliminated France from the olympics
France got the favorable calls if I remember correctly
But Marge, that little guy hasn’t done anything yet. Look at him. He’s going to do something and you know it’s going to be good.
Funniest comment I’ve seen here in quite a while.
Why doesn’t the NBA advertise and market him more?
He adds a level of intrigue that I think would draw more eyeballs to the league.
He gives about 50% of the men on earth hope. That’s as many guys his height or taller.
Bro is giving short Asians a dream
Because it’s the first minutes he has played this season?
His highlights were all over whenever he did anything while on the grizzlies. This just his first minutes this season.
He isn’t a guy who scores a ton, so harder to market that. When Jeremy lin was popping off, he was basically the primary scorer on his team or a huge chunk of the scoring. In general it’s hard to market the “support” players in most sports.
But also he needs to be given time by the team too.
tf does jeremy lin have to do with anything lmao
Bro admitted to being racist without admitting to being racist.
This was his first game wtf lol.
Is Kawamura the shortest active player? 5’7” is ridiculous
I thought his height was 5’8”.
Ok nvm that changes everything.

NBA got their own Shohei Ohtani
This is amazing, i never thought I’d see someone his size in the NBA. Hope he succeeds.
We acting like Muggsy Bogues didn’t exist?
Close enough. Welcome back muggsy bogues.
DOMAIN EXPANSION:
DORMAIN EXPRANSION:
shut the fuck up
He might be the goat.
He might be the soat.
Muggsy Bogues was 5’3” and in the league for 14 years.
demon back
He’s so fun to watch in his short stints. If he was even 6 foot flat, hed have staying power as a backup pg with his IQ and hustle
for a guy that small to be in this league his skill level has to be pretty exceptional
He blew past perrenial DPOY contender Bam Adebayo after this
#Whatcha gonna do, when Yukimania runs wild on you, brother!?
Damn, Nugget maybe should’ve gotten him when the Bulls previously released him because of injury. We could’ve use scrappy PG with high basketball IQ and good court vision. Sure, he’s small, but Mugsy is even smaller, and he’s awesome.
still blows my mind bogues was 5’3 🤯
Every team needs that underdog who made it on pure hustle.
I’m buying his jersey right now
Yuki Badger 🦡
That shit just makes me remember how high the vibes were in that grizzlies team in the first half of last season… Crazy how fast a team can implode.
Edit : I just looked at his splits and he averages 10 assists for only 2.6 TOs per 48 minutes, and that’s with 90% of games where he only gets to be on the court for less than 2 minutes. He had 4 assists in 8 minutes against Portland in november. Dude could be Muggsy Bogues 2.0
Disrespectful to muggsy tbh, he was a legit starter and played 10+ years
Can this <6’ bench warmer be the next Muggsy Bogues???
Heart and effort, should be shown to every kid in Middle school and high school.
RYOTA
Give Kasparas a 🪜 ladder
Woah he’s playing meaningful minutes in a close game. That’s awesome.
This is fun and all, but the commentary is over the top to the point of being dehumanizing.
Patronizing, condescending
Put him in the trade package for Giannis immediately
Thats hanamichi sakuragi, real.life slam dunk character
my favorite mascot is back
Man, I love our announcers.
White men really can’t jump.
Japanese NBA fans finally have a player to support other than Rui
That’s pure goddamn sheer will and heart at work.
Let’s see him defend Wemby
literally happened during the olympics and he would’ve won if the refs weren’t home cooking
