Pretty crazy that he’s actually dunking more this season compared to previous seasons. Could this possibly be because he’s more open now since the focus of the defense is Luka?

This is also surprising since the decline of his athleticism is pretty apparent but he’s still more athletic than 95% of the league.

LeBron gets so many half court passes from Luka where he leaks out after a rebound or even after made baskets. He’s basically playing TE on these plays vs smaller DBs. He seals guards off inside the paint and Luka seems to always drop a dime into his hands from a distance. It’s so pretty to watch live.

It’s such an effective play and really forces defenders to hustle back, but even when they do, it’s usually a guard trying to stop a 260+ freight train 1v1

Yeah and a lot of the two-man game they’ve developed involves these type of plays-

Like the one where he sneaks out for the Hail Mary lob from Luka, that usually ends in a dunk, and a lot of the plays an off an inbound have him slicing to the basket.

LeBron had a few fantastic fourth-quarter takeovers, and he could do that because he doesn’t have to carry the offense the entire game and can conserve his energy.

I don’t understand some people who think LeBron could still take over in the fourth quarter without Luka carrying the offense.

How many of these dunks are when oppositions defenders are in the key. Because I see multiple times LeBron doesn’t get back on defence and argues with the refs in the oppositions half and receives a pass on a Lakers rebound or long rebound
