I don’t think the movement was that abnormal might be biased but looked like most landing space fouls, not really millers fault but that’s the league we’re in defense needs to accommodate for offense more often. Insane call. And the excuse being that if Clips had gained possession of the basketball it would have prevented review is equally insane. One of the worst calls I’ve seen in a long, long, long time. Compounded by the fact that Kawhi pulled the Clippers within 4 prior to that while getting mauled every time he goes to the basket, while Jokic can roll his sloppy ass to the basket and get whatever call he wants. It’s my understanding that on any stoppage of play (it was an airball and out) the review center can contact the floor refs and initiate a review of any previous play. It looks silly but that’s how it is iirc.

Edit: By the same token, had the Clips got the ball and continued play, no review would have happened.

I’m like 99 percent sure the rules straight up say they can only review for a flagrant if they call a whistle and call it a foul first. Whether or not it was a foul, that shouldn’t have been reviewed based on the nbas own rules. Even the nuggets announcers joked about it and how the refs are bad. They straight up called the refs out for making a bunch of mistakes that benefited their own team so you the refs were bad tonight.

On the other hand, I like watching the clippers lose and idrc if every game against them is incredibly unfair against them.
