We literally could not have gotten anyone better this offseason with what we paid for him. Maybe we could’ve gotten a slight upgrade if we overpaid and locked ourselves out of our future first round picks but I don’t think that makes us contenders and I would rather have Ayton.
His flaws as a player aren’t tied to whether or not he’s worth his contract, or whether or not we had any other choice in the off season. I can understand all that and still not think he’s a long term piece.
