[Highlight] Sam Cassell falls over trying to hold back Joe Mazzulla unleashing the dragon on the referees, upset about an uncalled foul. Immediate technical foul
He did not fall over. Mazzulla tossed that dude.
Jiu Jitsu Joe
That was more Judo Joe.
Judo Joe is no Steven Seagal though
Joe Jitsu
It was right there.
Power of getting double underhooks
That’s tai chi
Well he shouldn’t have done that illegal screen.
Ancient art
Joedo
Most entertaining coach in the league by a wide margin lol.
“Illegal screen”
He’s awesome and seems like a good dude.
Doc rivers exists
Judo threw his own coach. Not beating the psychopath allegations.
Not even sure what he was mad about lol… maybe that his players have balance issues from watching the game tonight
Between this and when that one guy straight up tackled Scheierman he’s got a point
Shit was called a foul on scheriemen tho, it was just a take foul
i love joe mazzulla
He’s so perfect for Boston, it’s kind of wild
For context, Scheierman was grabbed from behind around the neck on a fast break with no flagrant called and then Walsh called for an offensive foul on a rebound w similar contact the play before
it was even less contact and it was literally the play right before this.. its insane how inconsistant they are.
It was clearly not around the neck or it would have been a flagrant 1. Okungwu grabbed him around the shoulders and made no contact with the head or neck.
This was about the only call the refs for right all night. They’ve been atrocious.
You could literally see the scratch on Baylor’s neck as he was shooting the free throws…
The no flagrant was egregious
That was not a flagrant at all
It absolutely was. But the refs aren’t the reason the Celtics are losing this game. Hawks are lights out right now.
it absolutely wasn’t a flagrant. OO was locking him up to prevent a layup. he didn’t wrap his arms around his neck.
And ya’ll still got the two FTs after anyways.
Wasn’t remotely a flagrant.
Joe is definitely like nah get off of me, but they showed another angle of this and it looked like Sam also trips, at the perfect time you could say lol
So… what was he mad about?
The Belichick snub.
As he should be.
Mad that the flop wasn’t called a foul on Okongwu
You don’t see Oko hooking Walsh’s arm there?
I see Celtics jumping to the ground that’s about it
You must be blind then pause it at 2 seconds in
Oh, you mean well before the rebound. I’m not the person you were responding to but I didn’t see that as I was watching for it during Walsh’s box out.
That doesn’t appear to be what the entire Celtics bench (including Mazzulla) is reacting to. They appear to be reacting to 55 falling down which he clearly does from tripping over Walsh who is also falling down because Okongwu pulls the chair on him and 55 falls over Walsh’s legs. The announcers also appear to think 55 falling down is the foul that should be called.
You’re actually a super biased hawks fan if you don’t understand this. How about the scheierman neck thing and the jordan walsh foul that was similar contact to this. It’s not necessarily this play, but in general inconsistencies this game.
The Okongwu foul was not a flagrant. There was a loose ball foul on the Hawks that got missed during the play that set Joe off, though.
He rented The Town from Blockbuster and the last person who rented it forgot to rewind it.
Nice form
That’s my COTY
Next time he’ll pop out the Dwight freeney fake spin
that’s a coin
Dude is lowkey strong, able to toss aside Cassell like that.
Judo Joe
Some guys run their bench. Other guys run around their bench.
Funny how the roles reverse. Sam was a three time champ and all star. Joe went undrafted,
“unleashing the dragon”
Pause
Why is this weirdo crashing out l
Tossing your assistant like this is a terrible look.
Reacting over nothing
The past few possesions were bad for the refs. Mazzulla was mad about the past few possessions, not just this one. Scheierman got pulled on the neck on a fast break and no flagrant and Walsh got called for an offensive foul with very little contact (way less than this).
Right, cause you were there
