Until we find out the validity of the long term effects I see nothing wrong with a miracle drug that helps people keep weight off. And like you still gotta put some work in. For the last few years there was a shortage which is obviously not good as people who really needed it for diabetes couldn’t get it but that’s apparently over. It would obviously be nice if the cost could come down.
But yeah when you’re bmi is already like 13 it’s probably not a good idea to be on ozempic.
We just know him as a physical beast, which is not a body type that carries well in your mid-60s. He looks like he slimmed down on doctors order
It’s not like he doesn’t look like he’s at a healthy body weight or anything. The main thing with stuff like Ozempic is how fast the weight loss occurs, which naturally causes loss of fat, but also muscle. The most jarring thing is the face though. Many folks on GLP1s get a gaunt appearance. You can look at pics of Barkley in 1995 when he was in great shape and younger and his face is much fuller than it is right now.
He doesn’t look bad at all, but he definitely has the Ozempic look to him.
A lot of these people quiet the food noise, which takes them from their 3-5k calorie binging diets to often less than 2k overnight. That causes huge 50-100 lb weight loss in a matter of months which will just naturally make you kind of gaunt looking, especially compared to the old you.
Hrs 6ft5in. He’s not eating under 2k that’d take incredible discipline.
I’m not saying him specifically. Just generally. It’s a sudden massive reduction in calories in general and then eliminates binges.

I’ve been saying this for so long. Giannis would be so fun on the Hornets, but it’s just not realistic for what he wants to accomplish.
Basketball wise it really could be hornets would be right under the pistons,healthy Celtics but with 2-3 bench guys be right there for the best team in the east.
It would be a similar situation with this year’s Spurs. Charlotte isn’t battle-tested at all, at least the Spurs had the Cup but that is nothing compared to the playoffs.

Yeah they will probably go through a playoff heart break or 2 but since mj left they’ve made some strides. Celtics will still be the team to beat once Tatum is back but teams burn out and hornets could catch them.
Gonna need to see some on court play before I’m ready to stamp the Celtics on that. I don’t have a doubt they will be good but incorporating Tatum on a freshly healed leg could be a bad call… or a great story to a championship. Too soon to tell tbh

If you are Charlotte, are you really declining to trade for Antetokounmpo, under any circumstances, if you think he gives you the chance to compete for even one season?
That’s be one more season that Charlotte has been competitive in, so far in their history.
And frankly, at his age, him departing is not a terrible deal. That’s preferable to him staying, and blowing out a tendon, which is increasingly likely.
If they could get him without giving up one of Ball or Miller I think you absolutely consider it. I don’t see Milwaukee accepting that deal though. But I guess it depends on what everyone else is offering.
They could put together a pretty good package picks wise and Charles Lee was on the coaching staff for the Bucks championship run, not that it means a whole lot but that’d be a nice reunion

That is only for a top 6 seed, Hornets can get in by winning the play-in game.
They’re on the right track for sure, but they are not a playoff team this season. I trust their FO to make some solid moves in the offseason. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if they manage to get the fifth or sixth seed next year.
