So we’re playing with Giannis and a roster of coughing babies for weeks and weeks and losing extremely winnable games because of it, then the second he goes down again literally the entire starting lineup shoots 50+% from the field. But we’ve never heard of defence so we lose anyway.

I don’t know if you’ve seen us play the last couple weeks but I wouldn’t be confident of shooting 50% against preschoolers right now. Our back court just managed an even 40% not long ago against the fearsome Conley/DiVincenzo/Hyland back court rotation, and even less than that against Pickett/Strawther/Brown.

Love me some Paul George. He’s having an underrated season. Looks a little heavier and slower than before, but that’s to be expected considering how old he is. I’m glad he’s stayed healthy so far. Maybe his conditioning will improve, he slims down a little bit and becomes more mobile. Still a little more upside from him. Him stabilizing and Embiid staying healthy and also stabilizing will help the Sixers deal with Maxey’s expected (and currently ongoing) regression.

Pretty complete game. Good to finally see Jared in rhythm and back in the rotation, he just adds an element of movement shooting and good on-ball decision making / ball-handling that they don’t have on the bench. Also pretty evident what value PG has. Grimes should probably get moved. Depending on the upgrade, Oubre too. Wonder how many teams have enquired about Russ, Klay, Portis, PJ Washington, Naji, etc
