[Highlight] Joel Embiid just caught a transition lob for a monster dunk. The Sixers’ big man couldn’t believe it himself.
Give the surgeon a statue outside the arena!
Give the surgeon a team contract don’t let that man stay a free agent
he actually is on the medical staff now
He should get the Gianni’s treatment and they should hire his brothers as well
Give him the lebron nike contract if this continues this until the playoffs
Retire his jersey as well he deserves it.
Retire his scrubs
His surgeon probably shat their pants a little, assuming they’re watching.
Embiid’s surgeon is the Lebron James of surgeons cause wtf
Same guy did Kawhi and PGs knees too.
If sports fans know your surgeon’s name, either he fucked up severely or he might be god amongst Surgeons. Thank you Dr Jonathan Glashow.
Dr. Neal ElAttrache is a legend in the MLB community.
Worked with that guy while living in SoCal. Crazy seeing his name on Reddit man
In what capacity did you work with him? Could you give ortho recommendations? lol.
I’ve read it’s pretty difficult to get him to operate on you. I think you need to have a clear case of something that needs to be operated on & even then they might pawn you off to another ortho at the office. Would that even be true? He’s part of the Cedars Sinai network so that means he’s available to the public.
Did physical therapy and personal training on the side for some of his pts after surgery. It’s been maybe 5 or so years since I’ve done so as I’m now in school out of state.
He was extremely sought out back then and probably even more now. I did PT on pts coming from other orthos in the area so I have a somewhat working knowledge of who to go to and who to avoid based off patient anecdotes/experiences. Each of them generally had a “niche” in terms of what body parts they tended to operate more on. Send me a PM and I’m happy to share what I know if you have specific questions. I can try reaching out to them as well
Dr. Knee Attacher is Embiid’s doc?
You think he could save AD if the Sixers traded for him?.
Only if we get Flagg too
Is Kawhi an endorsement for him?
As a sixers hater I am FUMING RN
Iol that is an amazing username
Everyone keeps talking about his explosiveness coming back, but what I’m happy to see is how good his footwork is starting to look.
He has such quick and agile feet for a guy his size.
soccer feet. the ability to dribble a soccer ball like he can and move his feet in the post are highly correlated
Makes sense
Would tap dancing be the ultimate footwork meta?
Crazy how a dude who’s won an mvp might be the most underrated player in the league
His MVP season was maybe when he was shit on the most tbh so it’s not super surprising
A fraudulent MVP I’ve been told though so doesn’t really count smh
Tyrese at half: “I told him before the game that I was gonna throw him a lob so that was cool to see”
so hype
Joel is lowkey having a good season but the public coverage he used to have simply isn’t there. Also, they’re really leaning into pushing Maxey as “the guy” now.
Which is ridiculous since Embiid is still easily a better player than Maxey.
Joel’s knees are FRIED though. I think it’s safe to say NOBODY saw him playing well again. Thought he was about to retire to be completely honest…
The Process can still fly!!!!
Fully healed
COMPLETELY HEALED!
Jonathan Isaac punching the air rn
Maxey jumping up and down with excitement. I love him
My boy really got his smile back man wow
This year is the first time appreciated Embiid. Dude has 80 year old knees and still playing like a beast. Good on him.
Love to see the big fella smiling like that
The way he’s smiling after that alley-oop is everything. Pure joy right here.
OK, cool lob Maxey, please don’t do that again. I want to see the big fella healthy.
NO! NO! NOOOOO!
That landing probably tears a ligament 7 out of 10 times. I wouldn’t tempt fate again.
Better landing than his last transition one. At least he landed softly on two feet this time
Lmao the way he was jogging
We need the Embiid-Jokic rivalry to resurge again
Trust the process!
No more of this
It’s actually scary how fragile he looked running down the court and then the jump and landing I was holding my breath.
The last time i probably saw embiid get up on an oop was in college. That was 8 years ago…..
Oh he remembered he can play basketball again, good for him!
Man scary as hell. Thought his knees were going to explode upon landing.
“The process can still fly” 🗣️🔥
Completely forgot about this dude
I didn’t 🥹
