Edit: His paternal grandfather helped out after the Armenian Genocide and he also met some Marines who were killed in the Beirut barracks bombing, plus his dad being murdered. living in rural america you see this a lot, a lot of people will stop and help a person regardless of skin, beliefs, ideology etc, take the shirt off their back to give it to a person in need, donate to charities, help in any way they can, but then you get to here their political beliefs and it’s a complete 180 to the actions they show. it never ceases to amaze me
