[Highlight] Immanuel Quickley hits back to back 3s to take the lead against OKC and Scottie Barnes makes sure it stays that way in the final 30 seconds
Scottie Barnes is strong AF. Chet tried to move him but he didn’t budge at all, and then the recovery for the block was insane
He’s got that Ninja Turtle strength.
He also got the double tip on the rebound while getting absolutely sandwiched by Williams and Shai.
Don’t get Jaylen Brown going on this subject.
Shead was low key a steal in the draft
kings fucked up by handing us that 45th and davion
for the worse mcdaniels.
The Kings fucking up is hard to buy, not sure I believe you
McDaniels might be the worst player I’ve ever seen suit up for the Raptors and I’ve been watching since 1995.
FR, he’s a second round pick who’s on the floor to close out games.
Bro we got the next Lowry im crying
High key. Nothing low about it.
These two especially have done a phenomenal job leading the team in this roadtrip, IQ stepping up has me taking back some words, not pg related critiques but I might’ve been pro Ja for the contract situation and am a dumbass for it.
no need to eat crow just yet, he had a fantastic last 4 games but he has still had a really rough season
Scottie Barnes DPOY
IQ has some elite original celebrations.
Dude was elite tonight and has been great all road trip honestly really has turned it around and is living up to that contract recently. Who knows if he keeps this level of play up but if he does I see no reason to trade him as a salary dump pretty much.
I really loved the skip but I think he had to retire it because it slowed him down in the transition lmao
Yeah me to hopefully he hits a buzzer beater this season and hit the call five while skipping off

IQ buzzer beater in Charlotte couple of weeks ago. I don’t think he did Call 5 on the floor.
too hunble, mamu did it for him
where you been lol
Jamal shead running point in clutch on road at okc
Man if you look at his shooting splits you’d swear he’s awful but he’s just a great facilitator and smart player (those two FT’s were tough tho)
Plus great defender. If he can get up to 36-37% from three and like 45% from the field bro can start. Would be a leap but gotta have hope
it would be a leap yes but he literally just took a huge leap this season, no reason he can’t keep growing
Christ. DPOY and All-NBA were the only things Mobley had over Barnes and he’s now a candidate for both. AND he actually seems to give a fuck AND can string together his amazing performances instead of doing one-offs every 3 games.
Kinda jealous.
<< shrug >> Mobley hits 3s better but is injured more? I root for both of them but so far still happy with our ROY.
Not sure that 31.2% vs. 30.2% is really moving the needle. They’re both not good 3 point shooters. I also don’t know if Mobley is injured more…
Why do you act like you are a Cavs fan? The only thing I’ve ever seen you comment is about being critical of Mobley even on posts that have nothing to do with him.
I don’t know man, I admit I’m abnormally invested in hating on this talented guy who just never got over the mental hump to be a true great.
I’m extra invested becauae he’s on my team and he keeps disappointing me, while night in and night out Donovan has no rest turning in the true superstar performances that this passive guy is supposed to be doing by this point. And then Donovan gets injured, we have to depend on Mobley to take over, and he STILL can’t do it.
So yes, I am a Cavs fan, and I’m always critical of Mobley the Passive Man.
I think I’m allowed to be critical (a little extra critical if need be) of the players on my team because I support the team - I’m not a Mobley maniac who worships the 15 and 5 he gives us every two games before giving me hope again on the 3rd game.
Mobley is putting up DPOY-level performances every night just like Donovan is putting up MVP-level offensive numbers every night. Neither of these 2 guys are a problem. Mobley had 29/13/7/0/4 just the other night when we ran the offense through him.
He doesn’t need to put up big scoring numbers, that’s not his role.
I’m sad you feel that way. Because I want it to BE his role, because he’s already shown he can do it. I don’t want the 25 point 10 rebound performances to be an outlier every 5 games, I want them to be his average. ON TOP of his fine defense.
I don’t know, I have high expectations for him lol
I just don’t know how we can expect him to average anything much higher than what he currently is when he shares the floor with the #11 highest usage player in the league. Alperen Sengun is averaging nearly the same numbers as Mobley for instance as a fellow big, but he’s #41 in usage vs. Evan Mobley all the way down at #118. Scottie is at #80.
In a perfect world Mobley can be trusted to handle much more workload and Donovan can lighten up, save up the energy for when it’s needed. For some reason or another it’s not happening.
Some would say the solution is trade Donovan but that’s a dangerous risk. considering he’s the only one that reliable (game-wise and availability-wise) to put points on the board in crisis. That trade could happen if maybe Mobley becomes more reliable or Garland develops steel bones and muscles, but that’s not the situation as of this moment.
I don’t know the solution, all I know is he has the potential to be a hall of famer and he keeps deferring to everyone else lol
We definitely need to run offense through him more, the game vs Sacramento and I always go back to the season opener against the Knicks as two of the best examples. We are no doubt too reliant on Donovan especially in 4th quarters. Donovan seems to defer a bit more in the first half and feel out the game. Anyway I digress, nice win by the Raptors tonight when we couldn’t beat OKC ourselves.
Anyway maybe you’re right, this is becoming too unhealthy. I’ll take a break from the Mobley slander now after this thread lol
Haha all good, I do understand your perspective better now at least
Quick heard us talkin shit apparently
I’m sorry how do you not try to get Shai some looks down the stretch when the other teammates can’t hit the far side of a barn door from 3, kept on spamming them all night
Tbf we were doubling him in the clutch the rest of your guys just couldn’t hit those open shots, but you’re right though gotta try and get SGA more looks especially that one Chet took like why is he taking that shot in the first place
I knew the day I saw Scottie clamp James Harden in an offseason gym game that he was gonna be special on D.
Dude is strong and fast like crazy for his size. DPOY
Scottie B with the clamps get that garbage out of here Hillbilly Abe
Barnes should be DPOY. Insanely disruptive.
Patent “get that GARBAGE outta HERE!” in the most high pitch voice you can make
its like sex to the ears.
Jack fucking rules
Quick clutch
Your MVP isn’t taking crunch time shots to win the game? At least have the ball in his hands and he can pass off a double? Wake up guys
Look at that ball movement
Finals preview. Clamps all around.
Quickley? More like *Heatle*y after those back2back bombs!
