Edit: To be clear, there is no reference to “ICE OUT” in any T-Wolves branding. The closest you can come across is a reference in an article to their City uniforms from 2024 that says the look is “iced out”. The wording isn’t on any merchandise and is not part of the team’s branding.
To really drive this home, about two weeks ago a fan was asked to remove his “ICE OUT” shirt by Target Center security who has since apologized to that fan…who also happens to be a civil rights attorney. Clearly, if the phrase was part of team branding, this incident would not have occurred.
The “ICE OUT” shirts being worn are absolutely a message to the Immigration, Customs, and Enforcement agency that is currently terrorizing Minnesota and murdering civilians.
Weirdly yes ICE out has been used for our jerseys since November 17th 2024 as a slogan unrelated to ICE
