most #1 picks in a game ever
Last night in the lakers vs mavs game (although 2 didn’t play) there were 5 combined #1 overall picks between the 2 teams, is this the most ever? or does it not count since kyrie and AD did not play
After thinking about this a few minutes I remembered the 1986 WCF where the Lakers (Magic, Worthy, Kareem) played the Rockets (Hakeem, Sampson, Lucas) thats 6 right there. I’m guessing there have been some games with way more

I believe The 1959-60 Minneapolis Lakers roster had five #1 overall picks on the team itself (Elgin Baylor, Hot Rod Hundley, Chuck Share, Ray Felix, and Frank Selvy) and they played games together that season
To be fair, there were only 8 teams, so #1 picks were statistically more likely to be on the same team

One thing I heard that was a good point though: with only 8 teams, that means every team was a super team. The talent was spread out as much so games were probably tougher respective to eras.
