Getting caught flat footed on defense and opting for the most obvious hack on the arms as if you had a chance at a steal or something there. Or just hoping no one has read his scouting report and will actually foul him on clear offensive fouls on a drive to nothing.

He’s a really talented player but his BBIQ can be so fucking low at the worst moments.

I think their math is slightly off - by my calculations, he’s actually averaging 4.8 fouls per game and a combined 4.3 assists, steals, and blocks over the last 6 games. And that includes a game where he had 5 steals.

But listen, this isn’t anything new for KAT. He commits some of the dumbest fouls I’ve ever seen by an NBA player, and also has one of the worst whistles in the league (I think because of his incessant complaining/ crying, but I digresss…)

And while I do find the guy annoying as hell sometimes, I also don’t like him being scapegoated for that slide we took. Most of that falls on Mike Browns shoulders, without question - and there’s also clearly an issue between him and KAT.

Brown seems to refuse to play KAT at the top of the key and in the post, where he’s at his best, in favor of playing him at the elbow. The guy’s not fucking Giannis, so shit is going to start to look jumbled when those are the plays being called for him. Just sucks all around as a Knicks fan, and I’m hoping we’re either at the end of it now after a few important wins, or at least approaching some new daylight

If you look at the last 5 games the difference is greater at 4.8 fouls vs. 4.0 assist/steal/block because 6 games ago he got 5 steals and an assist
