[Highlight] Luka Doncic drives between Mavericks defenders and scores! He also draws the charge at the other end to secure the win for the Lakers
2 way Luka
The way he gets guarded is absolutely hilarious sometimes
He’s probably the only player that almost always gets doubled or blitzed or full-court pressed
I think it speaks more to how the rest of the team cannot capitalize reliably on the 4v3 that they still keep doing that. We really need Reaves back.
Once he is back, along with Rui and Bron, they should be able to make them pay with open 3s.
It’s crazy how you say he’s probably the only one when Steph at 37 has it worse, and is a lot more known for that.
Luka can’t run away from defenders like Steph can. But they let defenders rough Steph up way more.
its not the same tbh because steph is more of an offball player, the gravity is even more tho
I keep trying to explain to people this is why he gets so many fouls. Yes, he does bait the fouls a lot, but it’s very easy to do so when there are consistently 2 or more defenders on you almost at all times
Pretty quiet in the sub when Luka has a great game these days
It’s very peacefull, feels like half the sub goes to sleep.
Well he’s hailed as a top 3 or top 5 in the league then has off games half the time while not defending. He is expected to do well.
Morale in Lakerville is low
more like morale in hatersville
Luka may never lose to the Mavs ever..
This game felt done early in the 4th and yet…
Y’all ain’t ready for two-way player Luka Doncic
Defense wins championships
Show this to Nico
Lakers just decide to turn sliders up to 100 in the 4th for some reason
Sounds like they still cheer for Luka over there.
AI is getting crazy
Fuck ICE.
2 way Luka as usual
1st team all defense
Fuck ICE
Luka is 6th in the league at charges drawn. Smart is 1st with 16 and Reaves also has 10.
Travel in 2003, and definitely in 1980.

2 steps on the gather? Replay the video
Nvm it looked like 3 beacuse his feet went out of view I take it back
That was 100% legal
No bullshit how is this not a travel? Explain like I’m a baby and not like I’m 31 and have played basketball my whole life
ooga booga he dribbled took 1 step, took 1 more, then released the ball, a third step would be a travel ooga booga
Bah wah wah lakers in 5
It’s a travel
Thanks. That makes the most sense.
It’s not a travel. You get 3 steps in the NBA because of the gather step, he took 3 after his last dribble.
If he took 4 steps it’s a travel but he didn’t
The confusion is in fans not knowing the rules, they think everything is a travel. NBA players know how to push the limits of the rules without traveling
That’s not how travel rules work. You don’t “get 3 steps”, you get a “gather step” if gathering on the move (in the air or on one foot), you get a pivot, and if you lift your pivot you must pass or shoot before it touches down again. Counting steps is a simplification that’s usually right but sometimes isn’t.
This is definitely a travel. That’s why the Mavs defenders both motion “wtf?” at the refs.
He gathers with two feet planted, and then steps through twice. Or, to put it your way, he gathers with both feet down (steps 1 and 2), and then takes two more steps (3 and 4). If he’d gathered without his right foot planted it would’ve been clean, but he gathered slightly too early.
This is the same as standing still with a killed dribble, and then taking two steps. Travel.
You’re 100% right. It’s wild how many people here are incapable of reading the rules, or just prefer to ignore them because sometimes players get away with this stuff.
Any naysayers need to read this, section XIII particularly b & d. https://official.nba.com/rule-no-10-violations-and-penalties/
What an effort, only that MVP level of whining could defeat the 11th seed in the west
