You kinda contradicted yourself in the last paragraph saying Paolo and Franz haven’t played together, then saying it’s clear they can’t play together. I think those 2 + Suggs have had 11 games together this year.

Paolo still draws 2 defenders more often than not. Shamgodd has worked wonders with AB this year. Maybe they can bring in someone to get Paolo to whip it around more. He’s OK at it now but turnover prone sometimes, could be great if the scheme changed maybe.

I also think the team needs to get Bane like 10 threes a game. Feels like he only takes 4-6 a lot of the time.

That being said - no wonder I feel just as hopeless as last season.

The record isn’t really important right now. They need either Franz or Paolo to take a giant leap into super stardom. If that happens, they’re set. If not, they’re fucked for the foreseeable future.

We had a nice run Mose. Unfortunately he’s going first and then in the offseason, depending on how the season goes, we gotta look at the core and decide what’s what. We can’t stay healthy and on the off chance everyone is together, the effort is still ⁵⁰⁄₅₀.

This is a good, honest .500 basketball team.

They play .500 ball goddammit. Salt of the earth, punch the clock, even win/loss ratio basketball. They lose a couple, guess what? They’ll win a couple, too. But don’t get too excited or let it go to your head. No long winning streaks here, no sir. That’s hubris, which this blue collar, hard working everyman team doesn’t have. A few wins in a row, these guys, true to form, will balance it out with a couple a losses. Yes sir, that’s the 2023-2026 Magic. A good, honest .500 basketball team.

I mean Banchero, Franz, and Suggs have each been in and out of rotation throughout the season. At least they got the AB leap tho.
