Joel Embiid continues to perform for the Sixers despite the loss: 38 pts, 11 reb, 5 ast, 1 blk on 13-21 FG
Two days after he recorded a 35/15/10 triple double in a season-high 46 minutes Thursday, Joel Embiid had another dominant performance tonight vs. the Knicks. He scored 38 points including 28 in the first half, the most since his 70-point career high vs. the Spurs 2 years and 2 days ago.
Embiid also grabbed 11 rebounds, made 5 assists, and had a block.
Like the whole Sixers squad, he went frigid in the third quarter (0 pts, 0-3) but retuned in the fourth with 10/6/2/1.
He really does appear to be back, but the question is how long he can maintain his health. He appeared gimpy on his leg after getting dove on during a jump ball.
