Right now everyone is projecting positive outcomes onto him, because he’s a ton of potential and people want to see him succeed. And if he does succeed, I’ll enjoy it and give him props. I’ve just been around too long to take it as a foregone conclusion. He’s never played in the playoffs. He’s still pretty weak. And regardless of whether he didn’t miss much time because of it, big men built like him commonly become injury risks. He reminds me of AD-lite so far. Everyone in the playoffs will be as physical as possible with him. I’m also a bit skeptical of his offensive game being ready for a deep playoffs run. We’ll see though, that’s the beauty of real life!

Pretty much comes down to 3-point variance. I saw Indy was shooting well over 40% from 3 while the Thunder were bricktastic. Don’t particularly care, we’re in the dog days of the season. The AS break and subsequent playoffs can’t come soon enough at this point. We’ll have some great regular season games left, but for the most part we know who’s good and we know who’s not and injuries and attrition will set the stage before the playoffs.
