The nosebleed prices have priced these fans out of the arena. I’ve been to Warriors games where people in the section I’m sitting are genuinely annoyed by crowd noise.
This is the key. Most sporting events are just the rich or semi wealthy looking for something to do because of how expensive games are. Some cities retain the passion but I think its fair to say the majority don’t

30k calories a day is nearly impossible lol. You’d basically have to spend your entire day eating, which you couldn’t easily keep the appetite up as you wouldn’t have time to actually burn anything off.
