Nah dude, that team construction sucked. Electric type wrecks that team. 4x on Gyrados, 2x on Skarmory, Blastoise, Butterfree, 1x Dragonite and Zapdos. DPOY my ass. Didn’t take advantage of base stats or Pokemon with great item combos either. You could sweep any combination of this team with an electric terrain setup.

PG: Mew, it’s extremely versatile and can run the offense however you want it to
SG: Alakazam, seems like the perfect 3 point shooter
SF: Mewtwo, it’s got the height to play forward, and is pretty fast. It puts pressure on opponents and can unnerve them
PF: Dragonite, I don’t know if flying is illegal, but it’s got the size, (e)speed, and strength
C: Snorlax, literally Shaq

Other options include Machamp as the Power Forward, but I’m not sure on the legality of a player with 4 arms. Kangaskhan is also considered, but that’s kind of 2 players

He can Seismic Toss the opponents and/or the ball, he’ll be fine. Plus Knock Off would be great for getting steals, put him at Small Forward with help defense and you’re good.

Honestly Lugia is one of those Pokemon that is just the wrong type. It’s so strongly associated with the sea.
Cursola not being rock/ghost, Ninetails not being fire/psychic or psychic/ghost, Luvdisc not being water/fairy, Flygon potentially being bug/dragon. There are a lot of ones that seem off.
I think 9 tails is fire because it was one of the original. I sure if it was added later it would be different.

In the newer games, Butterfree is a bigger offensive threat. Its special ability Compound Eyes makes its Sleep Powder super accurate, and it received Quiver Dance (boost Sp Atk, Sp Def, Speed +1). Very good snowball mon in early and late game, Pinsir is big dumb stick. I think it needs a better move pool.
