Yeah everyone thought the Jazz would just give him a green light and let him chuck 30 shots a game, but imo this is a much better strategy. Give him a small role starting out and slowly increase his workload as he continues to adjust to the NBA and develop good habits. I think that’ll give him a better chance at reaching his ceiling one day than letting him do whatever he wants from day 1 would have

Even if they keep their pick around 5-8, a lineup of Key, Ace, Cody (yeah, I said Cody, he’s been really phenomenal recently. 9ppg this month), Lauri, and Walker with the top 8 pick off the bench, with improvements from Zay, Flip, Taylor, Brice, and Walt, along with 40 million in capspace used wisely on free agents, and this team could legitimately have a shot at making the playoffs as soon as next season with Lauri staying with the Jazz
