The warriors bench unit was led by Jimmy. He’s filling the hole Jimmy left in the second unit. The offense was significantly better without him, with the Warriors best isolation scorer injured they now need him. Just like how in the playoffs when Steph went down he did well. It’s quite clear watching this season that Draymond is completely washed. That’s just the reality. He makes some good games here and there, but then 10 awful games.

You then have to watch Steph playing with him + 3 guards including GP2 just to compensate how awful and terrible Draymond is attacking, but then GP2 goes and can’t make a layup or a 3, so now you have a terrible offense with terrible defense.

It’s just a shame how much the team has to bend just to make one guy playable, but this basically kills the entire team. This season is over and this team is over, much to the happiness of Joe Lacob.

He could just have easily torn his acl. If you have an asset you are trading there is no reason to endanger that. Unless they 100% want to keep him and know he wants to stay with GSW.
