He’s #3 all-time in career PPG, and #1 for centers, he’s #3 in all-time PER behind MJ and Jokic, and prob the best free throw shooting big of all time. In his prime he was a defensive monster as well but I’d give Dwight the edge there for sure. If you can overlook the injuries which is fair if not, he’s better than Dwight for sure

it’s kinda nuts that it isn’t like an even bigger story this year! understandably so, a lot of people thought his career was wrapping up (I didn’t think his knees would be able to play basketball consistently again tbh), and he’s worked his way back into being clearly one of the best centers in the league. it’s pretty amazing

People didn’t even expect him to start playing until January dum-dum. His availability from opening night onwards has helped push us back into semi-contention. Also, some of the games he missed were because he sits back-to-backs, and also because we had a sickness spreading around before Christmas where everyone sat a couple games. And as long as Embiid is healthy and able to play every game come playoff time, it will be worth it.
