So I’m a fairly casual player that has maybe an hour or two each evening to play. For the past few weeks I have been attempting to build my temple and managed to chain around 50 rooms. Not the greatest nor most min maxed temple but it allowed me to farm like 15 divines a run which is pretty decent in addition to being able to farm atziri every second run. My fun with that setup lasted for a day before I missclicked a path and accidentally looped my temple. Human error, shit happens. I locked every corner with the 4 locks I had but for some reason I’m left with 8 rooms in total including 2 stranded corner rooms? Weeks of progress down the drain.

Ooops, sorry for your loss.

If you don’t mind me asking, how do you farm Atziri every two runs?

I tried setting the access chamber in between two rooms in my chain and when I killed her then chain destabilized and I lost two rooms in the chain before the chamber.

Luckily I only had two other rooms in the chain after the access chamber so it wasn’t a great loss but I’d like to be able to set it up

If you get the architect to be stuck on the left side of the screen while your chain loops on the right eventually the architect will only be able to switch between 2 tiles, additionally if your chain on the right side doesn’t reach the lowest 2 tiles it causes the special chambers to only be able to be placed there for some reason. That’s how my setup worked but I’m sure you can make it even more optimal. From there it’s just a question of connecting the room every run and with some luck you always have at least one room that can be attached to the side of the chain and if you lock your chain only the side room will be destabilizing after closing

sorry, just bad design.

new rooms should be allowed to be modified replaced until you click “run temple”. that would help a lot of new players understand how connections work.
