It’s not guaranteed that every cleansed “area” will have an immured fury map, but I’d say on average there is one per area and it is clearly stated on the map description.

This must be a seed type thing, as I just cleansed 9 areas and got 0 Immured Fury. I did however find one in one of my early cleansed areas from league start so that’s a plus i guess.

I’m also using grand project so I didn’t ‘waste’ any corrupted maps pathing to the core of the corruption. Oh well, back to citadels.

Edit: I ‘just’ cleansed 9 since this post but have cleansed at least 50 this league. I checked everything and found 1 near the start. I could be the unlucky outlier or you could be the lucky outlier. Who knows.

Could be, I don’t know. I have only really paid attention to it after the fix, but I’d say I’ve done around 30ish areas with 4 of those not having an immured fury map and one of them having 2. Pretty anecdotal experience for sure.

I don’t know if distance from center also matters, in the same way it does with Citadels, as I’ve only been playing far away from the center.

Its always shown exaclt like the other tooltips like “increased gold” or “contains additional 26 packs of cleansed monsters”…when i farm clensed maps i specifically target those who say “contains the immured fury” tho its fairly rare mod

I open the temple, and like nah, can’t bother with this sh*t. I’m sure there are other ppl like that.
In poe1 i did a perfect garden on harvest league release tho, but that was just in few hours.
Can’t see myself building smth for days.

About the economy - I agree. It’s healthy af. Even prices for the endgame items are ok.

Temple is not that bad once you learned how to build it. You don’t need to full clear until you start getting to 50+ rooms and it start to be fun with lots of tinks. You can also just do atziri runs for the splendour. Need a fast screen clear build though.

The only bad thing for temple is getting the crystals and you seem to do a lot of mapping so…

I think economy is still kind of broken. Not in the “I can’t afford anything” sense that some people seem to be arguing (as you say, it’s pretty easy to make money with several different methods), but in the unpredictability of things. Prices seem to vary wildly, and while that’s a common aspect of online game trading (especially since there’s people playing the market), it’s been way too volatile the season, due to the temple.

Every league everything makes money. Its only the numeric value that is lower, both for income and prices. Whats different this league is basically just T0 uniques being worthless, perfect orbs being worthless and stuff like ritual omens(or high end crafting mats which dont drop in temple in general) are more expensive (inflation aside). But this league currency drops are not a valid farm method, unless its farmed in temple and that should not be the case.

The fact there are people farming the temple means they have divs to spend on everything else so you can now farm all kinds of things because they now inflate due to influx of divs. So if you don’t farm temple you can farm things that those temple people need for crafts as an example.

After 5 days of 6-7 hours pr day, I have one 6broom snake and one 10-room snake. And I screwed up and put a commander as the 4th room in th 10-room chain. So no spymasters. Temple isn’t a good mechanic for people that aren’t diehards. I get one div every 8ty temple, or so. It really sucks to read all the posts about div printing. Poe2 is a game for people without work and only nice for the rich

If you want multiple citadel frags the waystone drop chance is super important -

Buy maps with 130+ chance (140-145s are pricey) + 3 tablets that have close to 50% each and grab all tablet effect nodes on tree. This will get you around 300-350 waystone drop chance and very high chance for double (80%+ in my experience). I have seen single drops at 450 so its not guaranteed but odds are very good.

The maps where your atlas node procs (20% chance double tablet effects) you will have 600+ waystone chance and have a low chance to drop triple frag - have had this twice all league.

If you are truly a demon and want the ultimate challenge - swap the tablets to 50 waystone chance + 2 extra map mods. The proc maps have like 15 extra mods and are completely insane but the map quant/rarity numbers become unreal. Be prepared though - count gooner with 300% dmg, crit, turbo, pen, etc. will send you to the shadow realm lmao.

I killed a lot in 0.3 when we had delirium for +90% drop chance. Over 300% must be like 90% double frags. 3 frags is super hard to get though, you need 600%+ and even there it’s not guaranteed. You would need atlas proc and quite a bit of luck. Not worth the hassle I think.

You can also run overseer tablets with both regular waystone increase and boss waystone increase. Personally I don’t think it’s worth it, as they were pretty pricey a couple of weeks back when I stopped playing and I didn’t get a single triple drop running them, but it’s an option. Maybe it let’s you run 4mod maps if you are scared of dying while still getting double frags consistently. Also a reason to pick up, roll and sell those tablets.

You don’t really need to go this high. ~100% waystone drop chance maps with 2 40%+ tablets often results in 2 fragments from the boss. You can run a 5 mod map this way if you’re worried about dying, you’ll have a backup portal.

Nice brother! This is what is all about ^^ Oh two tips for the maps : you don’t really need anything else extra for deadly bosses, you can even run white maps because the drop is static so no need to risk it buuut you can put in the Vision of Paradise tablet and run the map twice! This way you can run deadly boss maps and the fracturing map two times for some increase currency and the tablet is dirt cheap. Have fun outhere!

You want waystone drop chance for extra frags. At 140%+ waystone drop chance you’ll have 0 portals. Safer to have at least 1 revive though, which will set you back to 100% at best.

I really dislike that to find citadels and other POI you have to branch out far away. I Iike to clear maps as i go in circle from initial position. I think it shouldn’t require you to bline as far away to find these nodes, but instead just appear after X number of maps run or something. The game should incentivise somehow to complete closest nodes instead of skipping them. With them visually removing events like breach/expedition from map nodes there is barely any reason to run nodes in-between

I agree that the citadel “hunting” should be redesigned. But I strongly disagree with the circular pattern/closest nodes. The system, as it is now, gives you choice. If you are hunting for Rakiata’s, you will look for the water. If you like maps from a specific biome, you will look for them.

Why even have an explorable atlas at that point. The system you’re describing is more in line with POE1 (where the bosses show up after set increment of maps run). Guess its up to the user which is preferable, I find POE1 mapping to be bland

Maybe there is a happy medium in between. All i am saying there should be incentive to do all map nodes. Maybe they should just hide all POI and make it completely random, even citadels. Make areas spawn certain events more likely so you can still explore, but choose what area to go for. So you want farm breach you go left, rituals right. Clear the area and get the end game boss spawn.

I’m doing the same but I include expedition, it gets you 7-15 divs per logbook, so I do the maps with at least one expedition tablet so I can get some logbooks here and there. I also skip the abyss for the same reason as you, I kill them coming out of the abyss sometimes without even trying just from the CaC spells from killing the mobs around, if I see quick enough the amanamu mob then I try to pull and kill but I don’t slow my mapping to force it. I don’t do visions of paradise for citadels because then it makes mapping around a pain in the ass. I don’t understand the temple and I don’t want to waste my time watching videos on how to build the stupid snake, I tried for a while to just play it “naturally” and even though I had more than 40 rooms the loot was not justifying the time it took to run them all, so I guess the loot has been tuned for extreme efficient snakes or whatever so less than a perfect snake gives you peanuts. Now I just changed to path to Atziri as fast as I can cause I kill her easily and then see what loot I can get from her. I tried ritual for a while but the ROI is not very good, so I don’t tablet for them. Breach is great for splinters and delirium as well, so if I get some good tablet for them I run them. The tablets that I don’t want I sell. The maps that are not T16 I sell. The exceptional bases I craft with lowest investment possible then sell. I’ve made so many divs that I have BIS for bear/crocodile and for pathfinder frostbolt, and I still have more than 1k divs sitting in there catching dust XD I thought on giving a try on crafting BiS but I just can’t do it, it hurts too much to follow the process, I get the high on getting finally the perfect craft but I hate having to spend so many divs in omens and so and see them disappearing when you hit a bad streak of rng.

So yeah, same like you, playing and having fun, this season the economy feels great, if you have a good build and play a lot you earn a lot, no matter what you do, so I’m loving it. Now I’m a bit worried on what are the changes coming to mapping in next season XD

Such a cool and diverse method. I will copy that and include vision of paradise and grand project to searh faster and jump to those zones direclty. Nice thing is you basically just need a single tablet slot for the “basic” version of this and still make a lot of currency.

Agreed, possibly the best league for casuals so far. Buuuuut, there’s not much to do with all that wealth. This is the first time I was able to reach the “real endgame”. I tried my hand at crafting weapons but chaos slamming is mind numbing. Then I tried different builds but after playing a few CoC Comet variants nothing compares. Just dooming I guess. Need the endgame patch.
