Anyone who knows anything knew that Nurk was the #2 on the blazers back then. Post injury he has definitely looked pretty awful at times, but I got nothing but love for the dude. Can’t control that and he left it all out on the court day in and day out for Portland. CJ was great and probably is unfairly shit on sometimes, but the reality was always the small no defense combo of him and dame would never work. I spent yeaaaarrrrsss saying it had to be only one of them, because it is a team game, and you can hide one guard who is bad on D but you sure can’t hide 2.
