Jimmy famously has been around a 1:1 TOV:STL ratio most of his career, and began this season for the Warriors with 1 fewer turnover than steals.

After totaling 60 turnovers and 55 steals before having his season tragically cut short last night, he’s back to having more career TOV’s than steals.

I believe the only players with more career steals than turnovers, excluding bigs and guys with small sample sizes, are Alvin Robertson & Kawhi.

Yeah, that’s what OP said? Kawhi and Alvin Robertson both had more steals than turnovers. Kawhi has 1322 vs 1276 in the regular season. Curiously Robertson has 4 turnovers more in the regular season and 3 in the post season? He shouldnt fit the stat?

Because bigs tend to handle and playmake less so they turnover the ball less. It wouldn’t be a fair comparison.

What makes you think he’ll be on bad teams? If he’s happy to take less money (who knows with him at this point) I think any contender would have him off the bench. Solid defender and big for team morale if he’s not throwing his toys out the pram

No yeah i agree, he could def assume a CP3 type of role, but it’s really up to him. I don’t think any contending team would want him if he doesn’t accept a vet-min and a minor role.

Personally i would love to see him on the Pacers, especially if they get Boozer or Dybantsa in this year’s draft.

But his days of his former glory are gone now, no one can deny that.

Alvin doesn’t have more career steals, narrowly. Alvin only ever did it in one season’s total, not for the career. He misses it by three in the playoff totals and by four for the regular season totals.
