Looped my temple so I started crafting instead
Hitting that crit early AND not rerolling it before you hit t1 cast speed is … yeah … saved yourself a mirror right there for sure
I was so surprised I almost rolled over it.
Here is the final divine

Damn. I’ll give you a mirror for this! I’ll just need your mailing address so I can send it.
I definitely don’t want to be looking into any mirrors I’ll tel you that…
Thanks for sharing your crafted item! This is a reminder to include the story of how (and optionally, why) you made the item; otherwise, we may have to remove your post. See our Rule 10 for more details and some potential questions to answer. If you’ve already done that, thank you! You can ignore this message in that case.

Might divine it a bit better if I feel like it later. Not sure
I thought people fracture spell damage, because of the weight, also sanctification. Althought with +6 all might be more complex to roll because it’s itemlvl 78 not 81 like +7.
I think you would only fracture spell damage if your goal was sanc. All spells is a lower weight so its easier to find with perfect augs. rather than chaos spamming. Also if you miss the spell damage fracture its probably harder to save the craft but I could be totally wrong there
T1 Spell damage weight is 50, +6 is also 50, but +7 is 100. If you’re planning to whittle and do +7 you fracture spell damage, because itemlvl80. If you want to do +6, it gets slightly more complicated, still probably fracture spell damage because of sanctification, but it gets exponentially more expensive. If you’re doing profit crafts, it’s more reasonable to fracture spell damage as well because there are +7 cold, lightning and phys and +6 all, easier to hit overall, and easier to restart if you fail at some step, like whittle the wrong mod at 50⁄50 when it comes to the same item lvl or something like that.
T1 spell damage is 50⁄41400 or 0.121%. T1 all spells is 50⁄73000 or 0.068%.
If I were going for +7 cold or lightning it could be done either way. But those bases are 10 divs where the ilvl 80 bases are 100 ex. Both are pennies to how much the overall craft costs but its something to keep in mind.
Edit: actually I’m wrong here about the weights. You wouldn’t separate the prefixes and suffixes as they would roll at the same time. Thanks for the info!
Wow i didnt know sanctifying can hit fractured mod.
It can’t I’m just holding alt to show the tiers. All spells tier 1 can roll 5 or 6. You use divine orbs before its fractured to get it to 6
Oh i see now. I got confused. Thanks mate
Out of curiosity, how much did this cost you to craft?
Probably around 1500 divs
How did you loop your temple?
Didn’t realize a generator could connect to my sacrificial chamber. Was following fubguns temple and looped by accident at the sacrificial chamber (bottom right)
i thought +7 spell is a must for mirror tier staves, no?
All spell skills only rolls +6 max. You can sanctify it for +7 but that is obviously risky
it’s not that risky, odds about 50% (roll +6 for the divine) x 11⁄40 (>109% sanctify roll). And you can use locks
Yes +6 caps around 3200d
hey OP congrats that staff looks sick ! I have a general crafting question not specific to this
step 4 - blocking mana in desecration to remove mana from the prefix tag pool , does this mean that guaranteed 100 percent no other prefix mod with the mana tag can roll ? For example there are a is a non desecration roll of mixed mana mod ‘ hybrid mana and increased spell dmg’
Good question and no that can still roll. This step is not 100% necessary as you can whittle any tier of mana off later but it is a cheap quick way to increase your odds of getting a good 3rd prefix
Thankyou enjoy your mirror($) !
