Bellinger was also pretty rough on the road last season, posting a .715 OPS on the road and a .909 OPS at home. He feasts on the short porch at Yankee stadium and we’d likely see those home numbers plummet at wrigley. He slugged 130 points lower away from Yankee stadium last season.
Adding Bellinger likely gets you an average bat in RF and his versatility is less of a factor with Michael Busch. You could argue spot starts at 1B against lefties would provide value, but I’d rather add pitching depth over a platoon OF/DH/1B who would likely hit about league average at Wrigley
