At this point, it’s Cam > Sanders >> Miller defensively. Problem is that Cam brings the least amount of ball handling, which is tough to concede for them.

End of the day, all of them look like actual NBA players which is nice! But missing DJJ/Kawhi is just so huge that it’s hard to see them staying afloat against better competition.

Sanders is a big wing which is helpful. Start of the year he was lost on every rotation. He’s really cleaned it up.

Miller is all up in people’s grills right now on passes which is causing a ton of steals/deflections.

To be even fairer, he could’ve played Patrick Baldwin Jr and Ty Ty over Christie/Miller and Sanders and that would’ve meant the loss of todays game probably. He still wont give Yanic consistent PT and will instead opt for 20 minutes of BroLo, not to shit on though BroLo as he has shown he isnt a complete turnstile yet.

Speaking of injuries, Beal being out for the season is probably a lifesaver.

People will probably shit on Harden for the 20 free throws, but it’s genuinely insane how much he’s driving, getting to the rim, and actually finishing through a contest. He was 9-12 from 2 and 2 of those shots (he was ¹⁄₂) were midrange shots. Everything else was within a few feet of the basket.

Back in his Philly days his finishing was completely cooked yet over the last ~10 games or so I’ve been watching him routinely get by his guy and finish at the rim.

He can’t hit a 3 to save his life right now, though. Lol

Typically ugly, brain-dead afternoon game from the Clips, but I’ll take it.

Of course everyone is going to point out Harden’s free throws, but he really wasn’t even foul-baiting tonight, much less flopping. The last four were take fouls, the rest was bad defense.

Sarr is a beast. Middleton looks rough.

Jordan Miller should be in the rotation when everyone is healthy. Lopez should not, especially against young teams when his 3 isn’t falling. I don’t know where that puts Sanders once DJJ comes back…

IMO, when healthy Dunn needs to go to the bench for DJJ. Just play big as hell with Harden/DJJ/Kawhi/Collins/Zu, because it’s clear as day that LAC struggles offensively because Dunn is being completely ignored offensively.

Gives LAC a bench of Dunn/Miller/Batum/BroLo + some flexibility and staggering.

IMO, if they can turn Bogi into a useful player or find a way to get Keon Ellis, their entire roster rounds out well enough. I’d also be willing to sell high on Zu because BroLo is a serviceable enough C given LAC’s ceiling this season is getting washed in the first round.

Your reasoning for the Zu stuff is somewhat fair but my counter argument is that I no longer believe BroLo is actually ‘servicable enough’ and I think this teams ceiling is higher than what you propose should they make reasonable moves before the deadline. I think Miller is a real good NBA player (and that an argument can be made that he could/should be the starter) and that in terms of top end talent Harden/Kawhi/Collins/Zu is a very good top 4 in terms of offensive talent. Get one more real creator in the building and I think this team could make it out of the first round with some bracket luck.

Yanic has basically only looked good against the worst teams. I think if you get a crazy offer for Zu, you take it given the situation they’re in, but people are overstating how good Yanic has looked.

Trading Zu basically ensures their season is cooked and recognizes that their best case scenario is getting kills by OKC in the first round.
