Purchased student tickets for the jan 24th game on december 18th. I was charged the 18th and then refunded on the 19th. I’ve received an order confirmation from FEVO but no cancellation/refund emails after that. Will I receive these tickets 48 hours before and charged when sent or did they cancel without my knowledge?

There’s a lot of new Tatum content out there. He just had an on-court workout in Detroit in front of media members, so there’s a rush of great clips out there.

I would love to see if our defense has actually turned a corner. We have a top 7 DRtg in the past 15 games, but also if you were to rank the ORtg’s of the teams we played in those games, you get an average rank of 20. So most of the games have been against really bad offenses.

That said, there has been a defensive shift that I think is helping our team, which is that we are playing Hugo a lot more lately. He was playing about 11mpg before this past 15 game stretch, but is averaging 20mpg since then.

Pretty much all of Hugo’s pairings with any individual player is hovering around a DRtg of 100 or better and even the pairings that aren’t that good, like with Walsh and PP, their best defensive pairing is still with Hugo.

Hugo has the highest DRAPTOR on the team and 3rd highest DEPM on the team. Over the last 15 games, he’s been our 3rd best paint protector behind Queta and White, while also being our 3rd best defensive rebounder behind Queta and Walsh.

The quartet of White/Simons/Hugo/Garza seem to be gelling very well together. You have Hugo + White that are both good man and team defenders, you have elite scoring from Simons + Garza, you have spacing, and Hugo+Garza have been rebounding very well together.

I think it’s true that we are playing cupcake offenses, but I also think it’s true that Hugo’s versatility on defense is unlocking something with our bench unit.

Does anyone know if we can trade Simons after the season ends?

On the one hand, that’s a legendary Boston sports day, but on the other hand, his return doesn’t really get much limelight, it will be forgotten pretty quickly nationally and even locally, engulfed by whatever happens in the Super Bowl.

IDK whether he cares about any of that, but if he does, returning after that when the city can then fully embrace the Cs after the Pats are done (and have hopefully finished the job), is the way to go.

My dream is still ³⁄₁ vs the Sixers with the Patriots pulling up to the game with the Lombardi trophy.
