[Highlight] Wemby Misses the Second Free Throw On Purpose But The Spurs are Called For the Lane Violation. Wolves Cannot Take Advantage.
I have no idea what the thought process was behind that.. Could have had 40 and make it a two possession game ..
the baldness affected his mind
We have bald frauds in the NBA now
Hair is the brain’s antenna
Yeah only thing I can think of is Wemby thought it was a 3 point game already for whatever reason
“surely Julian didn’t just miss both, right?”
Yeah. This seems like a miscalculation/mistake on Wemby’s part. I think he would’ve just taken the shot normally otherwise.
Yeah odd decision.
Isn’t missing the second free throw incredibly stupid because it’s physically impossible to lose if he just makes it
well not impossible if the timberwolves get fouled and hit a three but yeah he definitely shouldn’t have missed it here
Yeah, I’m no basketball expert but the spurs could hold hands on the other side of the court and wolves still couldn’t overcome a 4 point lead with 1.3 seconds remaining.
Yeah, esp bc the Wolves were out of timeouts

It definitely is incredibly stupid. If he makes it game is over. If he tries to make it and misses it the other team is in the same position as if he missed it on purpose.
Why did he do that he was gonna get a 40 piece 😭
Honestly with the way Ant was playing I wouldn’t have wanted him to touch the ball again either lol
If he makes it its a 4 point game though. Instead ant had a shot at the tie. Just not smart by either him or your coach.
Fairly certain Mitch was not involved whatsoever in that decision.
Dude wanted the double double
Wemby you gotta practice that a bit more. You gotta let it bounce off the backboard nice and high so you’re the only one in the world who can catch it. Then you go for the Monstar Jam.
Just make the free throw. This one play may be enough to make me reconsider if Wemby is raw on offense or not 🤣🤣🤣
wtf was that Wemby
Very dumb decision lmaoooo
Wemby cooked too hard on this, hopefully Mitch gives him an earful
Thank God Ant missed it, otherwise this will be on shaaqtin a fool. Antman on a heater too, 26 pts in the 4th
Made zero sense. Victor was overthinking that situation. Just finished listening to Mitch’s presser, that was definitely a Victor decision.
Just make the ft and you win lol. Massive brainfart.
This move was absolutely a rookie move. They were winning, there was no reason for him to have blundered that. Lesson learned. Make the bucket to secure the win.
Only way it makes sense is if he thought they were only up 2
Need another broadcast to see what actually happened
Wemby has a thing for the theatrics
if cp3 was here he would have taught him to just make it
I love Wemby, but that was one of the dumbest plays I’ve ever seen in the NBA. Why not take the 3 point lead with 1.3 seconds left?
Extremely low iq play
Juked out the broadcasters just like Scottie.
Wemby looking like a 7’6” Avatar 😂
he seen that play by barns lol
Wemby so tall I thought he was throwing it at a player not the rim.
Wemby watched Scottie the other day and wanted to replay the big brain of sct brn
Gambling fur sure
the inverse scottie move lol
This is how Wemby learns
I don’t get the strategy.
Mitch has a history of being ultra passive in the 4th… Why is your player making all the decisions in the 4th? If he does something dumb, it’s partly cuz u as a coach didn’t remind him not to do it. I get he wants to let the players play (he’s made that clear), but 3 words aren’t hard to put in your players ear “make both shots”. How hard is that?
I love Wemby but he does make boneheaded decisions when hes tired. And he seems tired at the end of it.
I think it’s a fine play as there is no much time left, but I don’t get why this is a lane violation.
Ever since Victor came into the league he gave the impression of “first year philosophy student that wasn’t anywhere near as smart as he thought himself to be.”
…yeah
Thats hate!
Looooooove Vic obviously but you’re not wrong lol
It’s hard to hate though. I read back a college essay that I wrote a few months ago and woooo boy the pseudo intellectualism.
So I get it
He’s a very different type of early 20s guy from most NBA players but still very clearly an early 20s guy lol
