Does anyone else notice that the passing on breaks is significantly less than it used to be? In the past, there would be multiple passes until the lone defender is on his heels and has to commit in a direction. Now, we might see one pass (if any passes at all) before the person with the ball just attacks the rim. The number of 2/3/4 on 1s I’ve seen blown because the ball handler opts for a contested layup instead of working the numbers game is wild.
