I think at this point for me “intangibles=whistle”. How good your whistle is genuinely like 30% of you value as a player that plays star minutes. Exceptions can be made for mainly shooters (Steph can be a star in post season with awful whistle) but for players mainly operating closer to the basket if refs dont like you, you are simply not a max player.

I’m a Rockets fan but this was a horrendously blatant missed call, and then they add insult to injury by giving coach the T simply for complaining about the bad no-call, which is the only thing he can do to try to keep the refs accountable. Adam Silver’s NBA is truly awful.

Calls have gotten worse. That’s one of the must egregious missed calls in a long time. A long time being a week. These bad calls have been coming hot and heavy.
