Also Harden can be a closer. He had his shortcomings, but he’s still one of the greatest players of his generation. As you said he’s still great on his own.

A lot of NBA fans underestimate wildly the intangibles required to go from being A guy to being THE guy. Like you can just scale up any relatively efficient 3rd option talented iso scorer, and have them run their own team and it’ll work out.
They are just nephews is all, we’ve seen that countless times with people like Wiggins, Poole, kuzma. It feels disrespectful to even defend harden against these types of players.
