The signings in the off season looked good but the team is exceeding expectations. It’s a dream come true. Jokic’s prime has been riddled with unfortunate injuries to teammates and this bum ass 2nd apron rule that got implemented right when they won the title.

Nah, you either make players better or they have to work around your USG%. Nuggets clearly work around Jokic’s USG%. The reason Jokic is where he’s at is because he makes the least mistakes for their system, simply because height makes passing much easier. They as a franchise lean into that. He literally just does his job without many mistakes. If he was elevating players, Murray would be 30ppg scorer every night, AG would be 20ppg every night and back when MPJ was there he would also have 25ppg every night.

Now compare that to someone like Steph. Yeah he doesn’t get triple doubles every night, but clearly his game style makes others around him have a much easier job. He does it so well that his FO thinks he can win while polishing 5 turds on the side (Podz, Moody, JK, Gui, Post). If Steph was surrounded by a starting roster of vets they’d probably win chips every year. Godamn Steph is underrated. Dude did cardio all night the other night and the other team got blown out because they thought double teaming him in the back court from opening tip was the way to win. Steph gets players so many open shots just by running around without the ball it’s absolutely insane.
