It’s funny seeing the discourse over one game. One moment it’s “Jazz are actually building something. Keyonte George would be a top 3 pick in a re-draft and is MIP candidate. Cody looks like a rotational player for once. Look at these second round pick steals” Then bam all that gone today and saying they should be investigated, they’re directionless, tanking blatantly, etc.

I get it’s a historically bad loss, but it’s clear some people are just regurgitating nonsense. Haven’t seen this much discourse on Jazz so it feels weird lol. Either way, on to the next one. It happened. Surprisingly watched the Hornets against OKC the other day and these dudes can get hot. Don’t be surprised if they do this again to an old team.

I swear Lauri’s been in trade rumors for like 4 straight years and nothing ever happens. He’s the new Myles Turner.

Not to say we still don’t have plenty to work on (turnovers/decision making/out of timeout plays especially) but I think we’re notably better than the record suggests.

Our last three losses have been one possession games and at least several more were competitive to be suddenly dwindled by very egregious rotations by Lee. Hornets also have a top ten offense right now.

I don’t know the method to the madness but it seems we’ve been tanking while Lee throws a bone to the players to keep the spirit up here and there.
