[Highlight] Victor Wembanyama blocks Jaylen Brown’s layup attempt on the fastbreak, and throws it down at the other end (with replays). Spurs and Celtics commentaries
He gets a power boost every time he gets a block.
It’s a deep three or power dunk so often after a block, like fucking clockwork
Patented wombo Wemby combo
That shit really feels like a video game. Everytime he gets we’re all like “get the ball to wemby” and 90% of the time he scores. I saw earlier this year his 3pt% after block, it was insane.
I really wish they made basketball games like nba jam again. I’m just not into 2k and the realism
The realism in 2k? That’s gotta be a first
Vastly more realistic than nba jams for sure lol.
During the Celtics Nuggets game I saw Jaylen go up for a 3pt shot and last second decide to pass and the ball went out of bounds for a turnover
2k finally got that one right
I’m assuming in 2k they don’t have players jumping 30 feet into the air while holding on to a scalding hot basketball to dunk that shit?
Gotta say the Celtics’ commentators were fun. They’re fans of the game who just happen to be in Boston.
I appreciate unbiased commentary and they did a great job, just enjoying good basketball
I always appreciate it when teams’ broadcasts show replays of plays their opponents made. It’s nice
Drew and Scal are pros! They always show appreciation for great players and great plays, no matter the team.
They used to be downright awful, are these guys new?
Tommy Heinsohn was always a homer, but don’t you dare call Mike Gorman awful. ;) He’s in the Hall of Fame with a Curt Gowdy media award for a reason. Drew Carter took over for Gorman part-time in 2023-2024 and full-time after that.
And Brown lost the ball trying to dribble again. I counted at least four other times he lost the ball and turned it over.
one time he was in the top right corner with the ball in both hands and just lost it? I didnt get it.
Crazy what happens when his hands get slapped with no whistle
I thought you can slap the hand because the hand is a part of the ball?
He was dribbling down the court before any contact and started losing the ball.
future 2 time mvp
JB plays ethical hoops.
SGA gonna do the :0 face and flop like a matchstick.
The more he does it the more I hope misfortunes fall onto him.
weirdo
If brown flopped after the initial contact with Wemby he’d have gotten a call. Thats what Shai and all them do.
Sometimes you can’t be too afraid of Wemby. You gotta challenge him when he’s slightly out of position or when he has to focus on another player as well. When he’s in position and fully knowing you are gonna score, this is never gonna work. What is Brown thinking here? Like how’s that gonna work when Wemby’s arms can cover all the space you can send the ball up? No ball-fake would work either as he can literally wait for you to send the ball up before swatting it away, if not outright take it.
Much better to wait for a trailing player to hit a wide open 3.
Wembanyama had already blocked him twice earlier by this stage and Brown was presumably trying to get 1 back. Turned it into 3 times, gave up and cried about the refs. Tough.
This block then dunk the other side seems almost like a signature move. Completely obliterate other team moral.
Trying to score a layup when Wemby is in position has to be one of the stupidest thing you can try in the clutch.
Seriously, what was the plan here ? This get block 100% of the time.
Yeah, probably not the wisest decision. Gotta give it to JB though - the dude has been a killer all season. And he doesn’t flop or foul-bait.
