The major news from here is the firm investigating the Clippers invited Pablo for a meeting in NYC. Nothing in the meeting could be discussed but he was able to share some evidence he presented. Not real smoking gun but a lot more that supports the idea that they had to have known.
You can file it under coincidence or whatever the funniest thing in here was Kawhi happened to buy a penthouse from a major investor of Aspiration using an LLC opened by his uncle in Florida lol

I agree with you o e everything, but I think the whole Ballmer could buy the whole league stuff is a little overblown. No matter what your opiniojs are economics boil down to supply and demand, yeah he could buy everu team in the league on paper, but if he actually tried to do it the team prices would get inflated so hard that even he couldnt buy the remaining few teams. Just imagine if Ballmer buys like 25 teams. You think the Celtics or Lakers owner isnt gonna ask for like 50 billion for the franchise? Ofc they would, because they know that either he either wont buy them and they remain in the ownership of one of the most valuable franchises in a league with like 5 owners or they get 10x what the franchise is worth.
Its pretty much impossible to buy every piece of something that has limited quantity because at some point the price gets so inflated its not worth it at that point.

There’s a difference between talking to Pablo near the end of the whole process vs the beginning of the process. The video you linked is from late September of 2025.
The “idiots screenching about Pablo being arrogant, why would they talk to him when they can do their own investigation” were saying those things very shortly after that firm was investigated, and made sense to not talk to him immediately, because they weren’t hired to just copy Pablo’s homework.
You’ll almost certainly find me in there saying it made no sense to talk to Pablo at the time, but if you want to go pretend like somehow doing that ~3.5 months later is a “gotcha!” like you are framing it, by all means go ahead.
Like it’s pretty clear that taking months to do their own work before reaching out to Pablo supports that pretty strongly.

One of the founders of Oaktree Capital (Associates of Steve) who invested in Aspiration bought Kawhi the penthouse.
Kawhi bought the house from him in 2019. The point they were making was that Steve Balmer absolutely knew about the relationship between Kawhi’s camp and Aspiration, which contradicts what he said in his ESPN interview from a couple months ago. Nothing shady about the purchase of the penthouse in and of itself.
Yeah this is key. People who didn’t listen to the episode are going to blow this way out of proportion but it’s important to point out that Pablo and his buds aren’t saying the penthouse is a smoking gun - people in or around the NBA know each other, it’s a small world and the people in it sell each other houses. Even the timing of Uncle Dennis forming the LLC right before the sale isn’t necessarily shady.
Forget about the house - it’s the way Ballmer and the dudes at the center of this investigation are obfuscating and claiming not to really know each other that’s shady, and that’s what Pablo is poking at.
