Fun fact Blake was 3rd in MVP voting at 24 in 2014. Its sad how injuries derailed his career, because looking at what he did in Detroit we mightve seen a 6’10 Point forward that could pass, shoot, dribble and jump out of the gym. Him turning from a better Shawn Kemp to a Grant Hill esque player was crazy and if he stayed healthier we mightve seen a once in a generation skillset on a guy whos top 5 in the league.

So do you just accept the loss with the gassed bench on the floor after you already made your point to your starters, or do you put the starters back on the floor and try to get the win? not really a “why” but Carrington had an absolutely terrible start to the season, looked completely lost on offense and defense and our only other point guard is Middleton who isn’t doing much except for hitting jumpers. Basically meant that we could neither create or properly space on offense and our defense would breakdown at the first penetration attempt. Not sure exactly when Bub started to figure things out but his improved play has allowed CJ to get open and way fewer defensive collapses. They’ll probably revert to the tank soon to protect the draft pick
