I’ve looked it up:

He’s literally never scored 20 points in a single game in NC, let alone averaging that many. Last season, he managed 17 in an OT game where he played 32 minutes there. That’s his high for his career in Charlotte… whereas he has three of his top scoring games against Milwaukee and his highest scoring output ever was against Minnesota while also getting more rebounds in those games than he’s ever gotten in Charlotte.

I’d wager he doesn’t actually have some “mental issues” tied to geographic performance, as you diagnosed him running with completely false assumptions, but if he does it’s that he performs best in the Northern Midwest. The takeaway really is that making up diagnoses for folks when you don’t even have basic understandings of the stuff you are claiming to use to diagnose them on maybe is just a way for you to sound foolish. Leave that to mental health professionals and also maybe leave the sports takes to people who can actually see that Patrick Williams is nowhere near a 20 ppg scorer in Charlotte.

This game was lost the second Jalen went down. Sucked the energy right out of the team. The vibes were off all night after that. They couldn’t hit lay-ups, open middies, contested middies, open 3s, contested 3s. Nothing. They were bricking free throws. It was the same thing that happened when Coby and Josh got hurt. The team just mentally deflated and looked like they had just been told their dog had cancer or something.

If Jalen is out for more than a game this is going to get ugly. The team is down their two starting guards, their starting PF, the back up center, their young rookie, their emergency center and at this point it looked like Matas was limping by the 4th.
