Bam is a C/PF who struggles to score at the basket because he can’t actually get to the rim as often as a C/PF should be able to. He’s had multiple seasons where he was .500 on layups and most of the time, he’s taking midrange jumpers instead. But Bam’s not KD or Derozan and he’s a 40% jump shooter, and the vast majority of those are 2’s.

It’s pretty much exactly what you don’t want from a C/PF offensively speaking.

19-20 may have been his peak offensive season but 23-24 was definitely one of the seasons that showed how stinky Bam can be on offense. He was 49.3% on layups. He took a huge amount of midrange jumpers but he was only hitting them at 44.5%. It’s just very inefficient to be ending so many possessions with a low percentage Bam jumper inside the arc.
