Even if you simply ignore Embiid, they have a pretty good team, so why not? East is weak anyway. Pretty comfy situation for Embiid if he can actually load manage properly, while the rest of the team takes care of business, then cart him out for the playoffs.

The problem with Embiid is that he’s almost Shaq sized, but shoots 90% from the line. That combination of mass together with great shooting is dangerous, when the big guy actually has an incentive to go to the line.

Not to pile on Embiid, but it’s incredibly telling that he shoots 46% from the field, even as an injured guy. He did shoot 54% his MVP year, but the efficiency is still low for someone of such a talent.

I guess I’m getting used to the monstrous efficiency of his peers, especially Jokic, SGA, Giannis or prime Steph.

Embiid is the reason as well the guy gives up before its decided , doesn’t play good defense just the occasional highlight block but thats it. He also is injured way to often.

If they were to be a threat Maxey PG and Embiid would have to be able to all play great and coherent which i doubt will happen.
