If Jokic plays less than 65 games and his team is significantly behind OKC record wise he’s not winning the MVP regardless of the games played rule. Both record and availability matter for MVP, they always have.

SGA is having one of the greatest guard seasons on record, somehow Jokic is having an even crazier season but falling that far behind in games played + potentially team record does matter especially when the race between them is tight enough without those clear deciding factors.

Deciding All NBA teams on the other hand, I can definitely see a case for that. Guys getting injured at the wrong time and not meeting criteria for contracts they clearly deserve definitely sucks.

I don’t think it’s high. Players should be playing games in front of fans for how much they’re being paid and how much fans are being charged to watch games. I’m done with so called “superstars” like Zion who are paid max salaries but never play a whole season.

I think players, coaches, organizations, and the league need to really consider style of play and decisions made during offseason training. Pace of play and the current moves NBA players are able to do now because of non-existent carry and travel calls are leading to a lot of calf, achilles, and adductor injuries.
