Yep. Lot of things can happen in the playoffs. Focusing on a team and picking the correct lineups.

That said, I would not like to take the chances of facing them in the playoffs until has to be done.

A lot can happen before the playoffs. As a warriors fan I worried about the spurs but we never faced the Duncan spurs once we were contenders. Also maybe those losses may bring about some changes at the deadline. I hope not because I like the team as is but having somebody to push you forward is good.

If I remember correctly the blazers also sat all of their starters the last game of the season to try to avoid us. Afernee Simons ended up popping off and they got us round one.

It was probably the best thing that could have happened to the team. Those two Spurs losses show you what teams might throw at you during the playoffs. They also take the immediate focus off of the regular season record and get back on track for a deep playoff run.

They are max contract players against lottery, struggling and hobbled teams like finals game 7 pacers but these two bums fade against real contenders (eg playoff run last season save for two fluky Jdub games vs Denver and Indy) - OKC overpaid for them and their max contracts depleting their depth will lead to OKC’s demise

“Not concerned about the regular season” was a line made popular by the Warriors after losing the ‘Chip in the record season btw lol. That’s when Curry and Dray’s whole “regular season players vs 16 game players” narrative started. Go ahead and keep putting that one to good use. It’s a smart line and even smarter strategy.

Anyhow, enjoy the top while it lasts. As a Warriors fan, I can tell you the come down can be rough lol

Chet is wemby from temu - he can beat other knock-offs but always fade against the real one. OKC missed a true dynasty when they didn’t tank hard enough for wemby or offered Chet etc + picks for that 1st pick for Wemby - now they just have to pray someone else knocks out the Spurs in the playoffs otherwise they will sweep the Thunder
